Smoky Hill's Crisis Management Program is designed to assist school personnel in preventing, planning for, responding to and recovering from any emergency or crisis that may happen at, near or within schools.
Contracting with the SHESC for crisis management prevention and intervention is about communicating before, during and after a crisis with students, staff, the news media and the community. It is also about ensuring the safety of students and staff, protecting the district's property, and restoring normal educational processes as quickly as possible.
