Smoky Hill has entered into a joint venture agreement with Entegrity Wind Systems, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado to provide wind energy options for schools.
With the ever increasing budget constraints that school districts are facing and increasing energy costs, wind turbines are an ever more attractive alternative for schools. By utilizing capital outlay funds to offset general fund dollars, schools can demonstrate that they are both good stewards of the environment and of the local budget.
