2014 ICE Conference
Innovation & Creativity in Education
The first ever ICE conference will be held on June 17th & 18th at Salina Central High School, Salina, Kansas. We are extremely excited to be offering this professional learning opportunity to educators.
What is ICE? ICE stands for Innovation and Creativity in Education. This is precisely what we want the ICE conference to be--a place where we can all learn about new ideas for integrating technology and gain valuable skills from how-to sessions. In addition to the classroom integration emphasis, we will also have sessions dedicated to IT and Tech Directors on Day 1 of the conference.
However, the ICE conference will not just address technology issues and concerns. Instead, we hope to push you to think differently about teaching and learning.
Our keynote speaker, Dee Lanier, is a technology consultant for EduTechServe in North Carolina. He is a Google Education Trainer and co-founder of the “Think Open” initiative which advocates for crossplatform, cloudbased, cost-effective solutions to benefit all students.
So, if you are looking for an affordable, high-energy learning opportunity this summer, come join us at ICE. It's going to be really COOL!
