Camp Gizmos, Gadgets, and Games
Choose from Two Summer Sessions
Q: What do Legos, boats, Hot Wheels cars, and catapults have in common? A: They are all part of SHESC's Camp Gizmos, Gadgets, and Games.
We promise four days of fun, educational and stimulating learning activities for your child! Each activity will integrate various concepts of science, technology, engineering and math! Students will rotate through three stations each day and will also receive a snack to keep their energy level at top capacity! The camp will be a “No Worksheet” zone!
Our instructors all have experience with teaching in the classroom and come well equipped to interact with your child in a positive and safe environment!
Our activities include:
Motion Monday –construct a plan for building a puff mobile and then test it!
Trajectory Tuesday –can a catapult send your object farther than others?
Water Wednesday –construct a Lego model that can sink or float or build an ice cube insulator.
