Smoky Hill Education Service Center is excited to continue training this spring in LETRS. LETRS is a professional development series that is designed to provide the deep foundational knowledge that is necessary for students to learn and improve their skills to read, write, and spell. This spring we will be offering 3 modules appropriate for teachers of any grade level in Salina, Hays, and Concordia. One hour of graduate credit from Friends University will be available for those who attend all three modules. The 16th Annual Smoky Hill Education Foundation Golf Tournament will be held at the Salina Municipal Golf Course on Tuesday, May 29th. You can make a difference! The SHESC Foundation hosts one of the largest golf tournaments at the course each year, and all the proceeds are used to further educational efforts in over 60 school districts throughout Central, North Central, and Western Kansas.
