Smoky Hill Partners with Learn360
November 05, 2008
Learn360 is the newest media-on-demand service which allows subscribers to stream or download thousands of video clips and other K-12 educational media.
The content is searchable by keyword, subject, grade level, state standard, media format and more.
Everyone in the school district, including students, can access media any time, any where.
Users have access to content provided by a variety of vendors including National Geographic, Bennett Watt, Sunburst, and PBS.
Videos and individual video clips are correlated to Kansas state curriculum standards.
Content can be streamed using one of three formats--Flash, Windows Media, and QuickTime.
A robust administration functionality offers a variety of reports, site customization, & connections to district media content.
If you are interested in learning more about Learn360, preview accounts are available through Smoky Hill.
