Empowering Educators: New Mini-Grant Program to Spark Innovation in Kansas Classrooms
The Smoky Hill Education Foundation is proud to launch its 2025–2026 Teacher Mini-Grant Program, an exciting opportunity designed to support educators across member districts in crafting innovative and engaging learning experiences for their students.
Purpose & Impact This mini-grant initiative reinforces our commitment to fostering classroom innovation while maintaining strong alignment with Kansas state education standards. With funding up to $500 per project, the program enables teachers to introduce creative instructional approaches, elevate student outcomes, and enrich the educational environment.
Who Can Apply? Eligible applicants include all teachers from Smoky Hill Education Service Center member districts—Charter and Associate Members alike. Collaborative proposals involving multiple educators are also encouraged.
What We’re Looking For Proposals should:
- Directly align with one or more Kansas state standards
- Include clearly defined student outcomes and deliverables
- Feature a detailed timeline and itemized budget
- Demonstrate innovation and meaningful student engagement
How to Apply Applications will be accepted now through September 30, 2025. Proposals must be completed using the official application form. Submission materials should be emailed to Nicole Harmon-Hendrix at nharmon-hendrix@smokyhill.org with “Teacher Mini-Grant Application” in the subject line.
